Occasionally we host private bookings for swim groups and schools.  This means that access at certain times of the day may be limited.  For the latest information on pool/lane closures, please follow the link below. 

Class Changes and Cancellations

Any changes to swimming lessons or fitness classes will be posted here​

The Clarence Aquatic Centre and all its operations will temporarily halt from:

 -  Monday 5th Oct to Wednesday 7th Oct
 -  Reopening: Thursday 8th

​

 -  Program and Toddler Pools will be closed until Sat 10th Oct. Reopening Sun 11th Oct.

Children under 14 years of age must be actively supervised by a responsible person (18 years or older) at all times.  The responsible person must be dressed ready to swim and NOT use a mobile device or read a book while supervising.

For children under 6 years of age:

  • The ratio is 2 children to 1 responsible person

  • Supervising person must be in the water and be within arm’s length at all times

For children between 6 and 10 years of age:

  • The ratio is 4 children to 1 responsible person

  • The supervising person will need to remain visually active and be dressed ready to swim
